I'll go to a Glock Armor's course in a few months. Made a mistake the first one that I went to. The G42/G42 platforms were relatively new and the course did not cover them. This new gun will complicate the process for those of us who maintain our hardware. I try to keep multiples of all the parts that are commonly known to fail in the Gen 3 and 4 Glocks.

Just picked up a Gen5 G19. Took her out this morning and put 115 rounds through it- no issues. Accuracy was the same as my other generation Glocks. While there are a lot of changes to the Gen5 design, it feels very much the same as a Gen4 when firing. The big difference - no finger grooves. The only other noticeable shooting difference (from other gens) was a "squishy" trigger. I dropped in a 3.5 lb. Ghost connector in it and it didn't help much, where it made a notable difference in all my other Glocks. Could just need to be worked in. We'll see. BTW: There is no manual safety on the Gen5 After firing a Gen 5 Glock 19, I agree. Squishy trigger. No bueno.
