Do any of you think that hornady could ever be talk into making 500 linebaugh xtp hollow point bullets for reloading. I. sent them a email asking if they ever thought or have had any request for them. what do you all think about a 400 to 450 grain xtp for the 500 Linebaugh. good or not.

Hawk bullets has HP and Soft points if that is the route you want to go... " soft cast" HP with pc or a quality lube will get you the same results without having to wait for Hornady.
Its not for me in the caliber... but I'm not saying it's not a valid idea. The Linebaugh is a "long range punch press". Hole in, hole out, air in, blood out... Cast bullets belong in the Linebaughs

You may get their attention better by acknowledging the benefits of having a .512 bullet for some of the other .512's as well as the Linebaugh. 50 Alaskan comes to mind first for me.
