A 2 1/2" m-19 - 3 1/2" m-27 and 4" Python.....They are all great revolvers but the m-19 is a sweetheart to carry......those are snap caps in the two Smith`s I should have removed for photo....

I'll take a square butt mid-bore S&W any day of the week...

That's a very nice selection you have there. I'd have to say my 2-1/2" Model 19 has taught me more about shooting a revolver than any other I have owned.

The 3.5" Model 27 is a favorite revolver that I have never owned. Color me jealous.

Love the front sight on that Python. Thanks... it does get my eye centered.... That came from a package of four different color front sights for a Python that I bought many years ago at gun show .....made by Magnaport......

nice looking group... I'd admit, if carrying the 3" would be a favorite... but all my double action 357's are 4"... I personally seem to drop to 38 Special on the shorter barrels

Very nice! Classics all. Like hughree above, the 3.5" Model 27 is a favorite revolver that I have never owned.

Those Python grips sure look nice. That's a serious looking machine.

The 2.5" Model 19 is favorite carry gun for me and my wife totes one around the farm. Compact, powerful enough for most of what needs doing, and big enough that you can shoot it well with practice (something that has always eluded me with J frame 357s). The only downside is how loud full boogie 357 loads are from the short barrel.

That 27 would carry me through my last years here in Alaska, I would fear no evil.

Ya know , with your new found abilities at Dan Wesson reconfiguration you may need to explore their stubbies. Sorry for the picture quality . First attempt with new picture host after Photosuckit became dead to me . New site does not have very good editing tools.

Is the bottom shroud/barrel by EWK??

Shooting the 2 1/2" model 19 with a hotter load and using the factory round butt grips can get uncomfortable fast so a pair of Herrett`s stocks were added to make it a better shooting experience ......

Is the bottom shroud/barrel by EWK?? Yup , It really tames the beast ,,,,,,but not much fun for hiking. I also have one of his conventional barrel and shroud in a stainless 3". That makes for a handy packing gun.
