I am getting enough requests for the Miha 32 caliber molds for the various 32s ( AND some guys want them for their 30 Carbine sixguns) to start planning the next group buy.
I checked with Bob about the possibility of doing the 314-640 designs to drop at .311" instead of .314" and Bob assured me the current 314-640 design bullet would size down to .310"-309" without excessive distortion.
At this time, the most pull I am getting is for the Miha 32 caliber 314-640 GC and Plain Base 115 grain large cavity Hollow Point cast bullet. As you know, this one also comes with a cup point, a medium HP pin, and a flat pin for solids.
Now, I realize guys cannot often cannot afford to buy 3 molds at one time. So, my plan is to run the 115 grainer until I get about 20 takers. Then I will most likely run the Sledgehammer and last the 100 grainer UNLESS you guys want me to do them in a different order.
So, here is your chance to LET ME KNOW! If there is something else you guys want LET ME KNOW!!
If you dont cast, YOU NEED TO START!!
Last, and one more time, if you are having an issue with your sixgun, let us know. We will help you sort it out.

FWIW, I have one of the 314-640 from the original run and as Bob as indicated I've been able to size it down to .309 and .311 w/o any noticeable distortion. I run it sized to .309 in a custom MGM .30-20 barrel, which is why I think it'd be a dandy in a .30 carbine if it could be jerrymandered to fit.

Obviously the heavier version depending on the launch platform might sit a little deeper in the case... Jerrymandered? Is that somehow kin to Chingalayed??

Ok, in reference to the above, I might have read a bit to much into what Bob messaged me. To be sure Bob feels like we should first TEST this idea out.
Any takers who own 30 caliber sixguns?

From the Sheriff:
48 minutes ago 2 Dogs said: Ok, now the big question is will the various 314-640 designs tolerate being sized down to .309-310" and still be accurate in the 30 caliber sixguns.
I am going to send a handful of each of the 3 weights to Huey to test out.
As per our phone conversation, the miha 314-360 design in 140solid/135hp and the 120solid/115hp will size to .3095 powder coated and pushed thru a Lee .309 size'r. Visually they show no distortion and in my custom MGM 32-20, .308 bored, contender barrel the bullets exhibit good accuracy of the bags at 100yds. I've also run an accurate molds 313-115 solid thru the .309 size'r and shot these thru my .32-20, .308 contender and had similar results with groups off the bench running an inch or less at 100yds. Have not shot them in a Ruger NM .30 carbine, but would be willing to send a dozen of each sized .309 and .311 to someone with a .30 carbine to test.

You keep your shirt on already! I'm working on it. Mr. Scotty "Waterboy" Boggs is sending me a few 300 GNR cases and Bobby Tyler is sending me a 30 Carbine cylinder and I'll be doin' and little measurin' and some shoes off toes free calculation' and we'll just see what we see. Might could be we need us a "T'weener" cast slug. Something between that 115 and 135 Miha. If I'm consulting my troll toes and tater fingers just right that means a 125 grain 314-640 OR a 311-640 depending.

Anyhow, I was just jacking you around anyhow.....
I've got enough .32 molds to float (or sink) a boat!
Carry on Maestro!
