Just a quick hello from a new member of the forum. This is Ron Ricci learning the ropes and having some fun with a drawing that will bring back some memories ! Thanks for the many accolades. Not sure if this is the best/only way to post photos but here you go: imgur.com/NoVQHoW

Ron, great to see another IHMSA historian here. I feel very fortunate to have David and now you at my finger tips so to speak. I look forward to more history lessons, along with hands on input of various natures. Jeff

Ron Ricci.... a Huge Welcome. We’ll be posting more photo essays on silhouette, and I trust you’ll throw in with corrections and names as necessary. That cartoon drums memory of a disco roadhouse in the west Pennsylvania backwoods. Are my fingerprints on it? You’re in there on the swinging door, along with Jim McClellan of Smith & Wesson, and it looks like Dick Best kicking in the door to the Ladies room. Then there’s a character on the dance floor... David Bradshaw

Thanks to all for putting me in the comfort zone. OH YAH there certainly is that "character" on the dance floor ! I'm sure I'll be filling in the blanks along that long road back to the beginning of those early Silhouette Days.
Hope to have some fun along the way with historic photos, some neat memorabilia and a lot of Tales.

This is some insight on my introduction to handgun silhouette. An article from the American Handgunner and the very first Entry Form from the first match in 1976. imgur.com/266yIRw

WOW! That was one great issue of AMERICAN HANDGUNNER. Lots of articles of special interest, even one authored by me. Welcome aboard. Look forward to your sharing your memories.
