Nice! I love my RAM. I bought a 2500 6.4 Hemi, 4.10gears RegCab a year ago. I love it. My TT only weighs 5000ish loaded, I can haul my 800lb quad in the bed and I have plenty of truck. I went back and forth , gas vs diesel but in the end couldn't justify it for my needs. Now, if I were gonna tow 10,000 lbs + I'd have gone with the Cummins. Too bad Obama got his nose up our tailpipes and left us with the complicated exhaust/emissions systems.

Too bad Obama got his nose up our tailpipes and left us with the complicated exhaust/emissions systems. My `04 Chevy 2500 was 6.0L gas and I was originally going to get the 6.4 in the Ram. I've always preferred how gas engines run and thought the diesel upcharge was ridiculous but after driving similar trucks with both motors, I decided to take the plunge. I'm glad I did because I thoroughly enjoy the truck but there's definitely no flies on the 6.4!

I'm glad I did because I thoroughly enjoy the truck but there's definitely no flies on the 6.4! Ya. A guy can't really go wrong with either one. It's just a matter of what you want or need. I think I figured the diesel payback would be after about 250,000 miles. We don't drive many miles, it'd take me over 25years to get that on it! After getting the truck last year we went on a 2 month, 11500 mile roadtrip pulling the trailer down the ALCAN, around the lower 48 and back. I've only put about 2500 miles on the truck over the last year since that trip. I don't/won't hardly drive it in the winter, we have a grocery getter for around town, the 2005 Toyota Matrix has 40,000 on it and we bought it new. We use the truck for running around Alaska in the summer and fall. I bought the Maxcare bumper to bumper lifetime warranty for it since after 3 then 6 years it won't have a warranty and we'll still have the truck. This was another thing that pushed me towards gas. Can't get the lifetime warranty on the diesel. I spent 10 years in the car business selling Ford and Toyotas in the late 80's and early 90's. Dang, these new trucks are computer wrapped up in a pickup. I'm a computer guy and know how to fix em..... just apply money! Another reason for the Maxcare! Ah heck... Might as well post a few pics of another RAM since I'm getting pics migrated to imgbb.com. It pulls this setup like a scalded dawg.

I love that green! Little over a month ago I had a set of automatic electric steps installed and swapped the factory flares for paint-matched Bushwacker pocket flares. Looks much cleaner without those factory running boards. Forgot to take a pic of them extended. We're nearly there on this truck.....
