A lot of the elitist like to bash Taurus. But, I've had excellent luck with the few I own.
Among them, a Raging Bull 41 Magnum. Its a very tight made gun that shoots just as good as my FA97 41 Magnum.
I really like to shoot the Oregon Trail 265 grn GC bullets from it. The very long cylinder handles this combination well.

Funny timing, I guess. Just had a Taurus 2" 5 shot 357 fall into my lap last night. Some years back my FIL showed an interest in CCW and I set himup with a friend/instructor and bought the Taurus from him and gave it to my FIL. My friend used to bring it to CCW courses for when someone would grump about their easy to pack snubby being difficult to hit with. He'd set a IDPA type target out at a 100yds then procede to make 5 decent hits with it quite fast, offhand. But anyway, FIL, due to age and infirmary, decided it was more of a liability to him and Mom now. He with walker, her with cane.

SIL and hubby now live with them, and carry. Also brother in law has his kennels there, raises Rotty's. My FIL, also kinda doesn't want the other son in law to get the gun by default, sorta. I bought it for him amd got him thru CCW course here some years back. His daughter here, more likely to get good use from it. Likely be my wife's sewing basket gun..LOL.
