That is cool... never actually seen a Hawkeye in person... numbers must have been pretty low out side of the Silhouette crowds???
was that a factory barrel length or something you added???

it was chambered in 256 win mag with an 8 inch barrel for 87.50 in early 60.this was the 2nd one i converted.as this was now a collectors item it now cost 1000.00 + extras,i4 inch barrel,stainless grip frame and an extractor housing in stainless.3x12 burris scope.custom grips,2085.00 complete.my first i did with a 12 inch bull barrel in 44 mag with all brass extras.that was around 1000.00 in the early 70s.put a 4x glass on that one.
