My order was waiting for me when I got home from work last eve.. The steak knives are Cold Steels scary sharp serrated. They seem "sticky", as in so sharp, they seem to grab you. Be very careful handling. Am liking the mods made to the Bird n Game blade too. Just what I wanted. The original Trout n Bird was kept in the product line too. Neat.

The wife is in the kitchen prepping dinner. Salmon, flounder, shrimp, brussel sprouts, corn on cob and such. She just hollered down the hall, "I REALLY like these new steak knifes !" Scary sharp and "grabby" serrations. Think I'll use the Bird n Game at the table myself. Thank You Lynn..

Curious, Will Midway having a sale on Cold Steel products be cheaper than just ordering from Cold Steel ? Guess some googling required.

While I am not a fan of some of their designs and grinds, I am a huge fan of their cost/value proposition. I think you get a heck of a lot of knife for the prices they charge! I also like the Kraton handle material.
I picked up a stockman folder during a close out sale some years ago. It's still going strong.
Really seems hard to go wrong with their kitchen knives at the low prices they charge!
I do wish they would publish the Rockwell hardness along with the steel type.
