I mentioned in the Hijack thread that I'm not a huge 22 LR fan, but I'm keeping an old BRNO bolt action 22 with 3 leaf sights & a Kollmorgan Bearcub scope with engraved rings...
just curios if there are any Kollmorgan fans out there??? thinking they were bought out by Red Field, in what... maybe the 60's??? ... this is the only Kollmorgan scope I have, & honestly the only I've seen in person, they were made in the USA, & it's as clear as the day it was made I'm sure...
I almost never shoot this rifle, but curious if this is one of the brands that could be repaired if something should happen to it in the future???

I have an early postwar William Evans 375 H&H Mauser, atop sits a 2.5X Kollmorgen scope. It is a wonderful scope. It has withstood numerous Winchester 300 grain WW Silvertips, 270 grain Power Points and 300 grain Hornady round nose bullets over W760 powder. Great optics and holds zero. You can see the Kollmorgen lineage in early Redfield scopes.

If I had to guess. I would say don't worry about it breaking. If it should. I think Leupold could repair it.
