Very good results Cholla. Thanks for the pictures. Normally, out of a handgun, the hollow point blows off to the base of the HP cavity, or a little more leaving the bullet as one caliber to exit out of the animal. With the added velocity of the rifle, with the same alloy, you should try the less deep small or cup hollow points. They should leave more bullet shank and basically perform about the same. Shoot us another piggy and post pictures please.

I still have at least one deer to shoot, maybe two, and I'll likely use the smallet HP. The rifle stays loaded with loads using the same bullet but the small HP, I had been chambering a load with the large HP and forgot to switch when I decided to try for a hog. (Hope all that makes sense!)

That's a beautiful bullet and great results.
I am still waiting on my mold to arrive but that's ok because my reloading room is packed in storage til the house is built so it wouldnt do any good to cast any right now anyway.

I seen that but they are usually marked as CLOSED?? Is there a Mold Number? O can't find it on his sight, usually he list overruns on his sight, I would have PM him and ask about 357 carbine mold?  just doesn't sound to descriptive? |

Customs must having trouble deciding if Alaska is actually one of the states of the US. |

Go to MP Molds and leave him a message about the 357 Carbine mold. Specify either 2 or 4 cavity and plain base or gas check. Make sure you give your e-mail address. He will contact you with either a statement or a invoice for the mold. Customs still have one of my molds also.  |

I PM'd him back when I found it wasn't just last call on this mold, but actually closed about any available and have not received a response either?
