I got one of them and the other seems to be entertaining someone in Customs.

As mentioned, I haven't shot very many of mine yet but the one's I have shot are doing very well in deed! I've only shot the "button" HP weighing 175 grs & like it a lot.

Customs must be pretty random. I ordered one of his 525 grain .512 molds the same day he said he was shipping the 357 mold and it got here in six days.

Results!! I used te large HP version running a little over 1700 fps. She was 35-40 yds away when the bullet hit her high in the left shoulder, then angled down and came to rest under the skin, between two ribs on the off side. Not much left of the bullet. Cholla

Cholla Would you please post a couple of views of the recovered bullet and tell us your alloy along with if you heat treated it. That was typical performance for the large HP. Thanks!

The gun was a '92 Rossi in .357, of course. The load was 15.0 grs. of H110 and a CCI550 primer. As soon as I'm finished feeding the cows(!), I'll get some photos of the bullet. Cholla

Here's a shot of the bullet: Original weight was 166 grs., recovered weight was 85.0 grs. For the alloy I blended 8 lbs. COWW, 1 lb. of pure lead and a little under 3 oz. tin (2%). I didn't test it, but Bhn should've been around 11.5. I cast them a little hard because of the high velocities they'd be running out of the carbine, and added the tin in hopes of keeping the bullet malleable. Cholla
