That price doesn't surprise me one bit. All factory engraved Rugers are scarce to say the very least. That one is listed on page 139 in John Dougan's book: Complements of Col Ruger; A Study of Factory Engraved Single Action Revolvers...An excellent read by the way.

The Anchorage Cabelas has/had one of these a couple weeks back--think they were asking something like $9,500+ for it cased.

Yepper, that is the one at Cabelas. I had to stop and look at the Gun Library during our recent Anchortown trip and it caught my eye. Looked beautiful, just outside my areas of interest.
