If only I knew back then, when I could order them right on Davidson's site for ~$900.

Matt also listed a 414 bisley that I think I used to own and it is the same price. Work done by Alan and Jim Stroh and he is throwing in 500 pieces of brass!

Is that .414 nice Robb?
You have the work done on it?

Yeah, that .414 looks like a deal, too.

Alan did the basic conversion then I sent it to Jim Stroh for stamping, his front sight and finish work. I believe Matt had the coloring done. Very nice six shot 414 that I moved on simply because I have the 5 shot version by Alan already in the safe.

Good call having the Stroh sight and finish work done. Both the best out there. Also, I like the 414 Gates marking. Very appropriate.
I have a set of ivory blanks begging to be carved to fit that gun!
I'm guessing that's a factory 41 cal barrel and not a rebore? Dimensionally, if it had any flaws I'm sure one of those two smiths would have scrapped it, and Ruger makes accurate revolver barrels AFAIK.
Edit: unless somebody beat me to it, I posted an I'll take it. Might sell one of my soulless Freedom Arms to pay for it, but that can be replaced.

Congrats to you, PJ!
That's a really nice looking sixgun. Love the CCH and, the lines of the Stroh F-sight/base. Yeah, it's nice indeed...

... must have been $2500 gun day yesterday! The 414 is gorgeous, the USFA is really nice and the FA is a good one for a 41 fan. Tim

Wow-nice prices!
I wonder what my USFA rodeo in 45 Colt and 4 3/4" barrel is worth. I haven't shot more than a box through it.

Do I need to have a Browning Low Wall rebored to 414 now?

Do I need to have a Browning Low Wall rebored to 414 now? I know a gentleman who had a 336 rebored to 414, he has only good things to say. Eric
