Before you all start bashing it cause its a Taurus......I got this NIB at a great price at my LGS. Its a 941 in .22 magnum. Eight shots with adjustable sights. Should make a nice all around utility gun. Shoots to point of aim and has a great SA trigger pull.....DA pull is heavy, but smooth.

I had a stainless 4" that I converted to centerfire & set up to shoot a 22 Velo-dog type cartridge only trouble I ever had with the gun, was the weak plastic front sight insert...

Gun snobs are the devil's own in my book. If it shoots straight and is reliable then I don't give a hoot in hell what name is on the gun. Had a coworker that owned a Hipoint in .45. My boss, who is a gun snob, gave him all kinds of grief until we went to the range together. That boy took his Hipoint and shot circles around my boss with his Kimber! And we laughed and laughed. Boss man kept his mouth shut after that.

When Taurus first started making guns my grandfather wanted an another .38 special snubby because he gave his old S&W to my father. He hadn't bought a gun in many years and had not realized how prices had gone up so we found a couple Taurus revolvers and bought him one brand new in box at a gunshow for $150 if I remember right as they were just starting to build guns and were cheap. Its been a great gun and I've shot it more than anyone else even though it resides with my sister now. It looks exactly like the one you have there except for the bigger hole in the barrel. The grips are a great size for my hand, not as concealable as grips on some small revolvers but much easier for me to shoot. I have never liked snubby revolvers but this one is the easiest I've handled as far as being able to hit something with it.
For the price I think they are good guns, especially these older ones, and if you like it that's all that matter. One in .22 mag like that would be pretty useful and a lot of fun I think. I might put it under the seat of the truck just for whatever it might be needed for.
Have fun with it.

Had one of the earlier 1/2 lug .22 Magnum 5" stainless guns... The only thing I could criticize was the rear sight adjustment screw was not click adjustable... I later sold it to a friend of mine who still has it and loves it...
I've also got three Taurus Trackers in .41 Magnum... Can't say anything but good about them...

Taurus like any other brand has their moments. I've had some I'd swear by and some I swore at, but that's true for most other brands too. At this time I have a 38 spl. model 80 that seems to be on par with any S&W model 10 I've owned. Nice find and enjoy it.

A 3" Taurus model 66 has been my faithful truck gun for going on 22 years. Accurate, always goes bang, fun to shoot. What's not to like?

My Pawn Shop Taurus 44 Special is my most accurate revolver.
Also, have one of the rarer Raging Bulls in 41 Magnum. Long cylinder and can house some hefty loads.
All I can say is Congratulations on a fine purchase. Enjoy it and don't give a second thought on what the elitist think.

I own two of the large frame revolvers in .357 Magnum, a seven round M607 and eight-round M608. Outstanding values.

My beef with Taurus has never been the guns they make . All companies make a lemon every now and then. You check them out when you buy them and usually if they are correct they stay correct. With out getting too lengthy (it would take pages) my beef revolves around EVERY contact with the company/importer involving warranty and or parts issues. Their customer service department and guidelines now bear my utter distain and the sooner the company folds up the better. Not likely but I dare to dream.
