That's what I was thinking. Even with the octagon barrel it seems a bit high but I'm no expert.

FA makes super tight 22lr Match Chambers. These would have slightly looser tolerances. I thought there was three levels of tightness, but I'm forgetting.

I have only heard of two. From what I have read the match chambers must be a bitch to deal with.

Generally you need a dowel rod to push on the shell to seat it, especially after the chambers start to get dirty. But for silhouette target shooting, if you can prove an advantage then it's worth the hassle.
