Anyone have knowledge about these sights? (This is a "Made in W. Germany"-marked P220.) I'm curious to know if these are factory original, aftermarket, or if one can even say. Thanks for your input. -Bill

Looks like aftermarket... More pictures would be nice. Companies like Kensight have made a lot of different sights through the years.

A picture from the top and other side would be helpful. However - I feel this will get you close... www.lpasights.com/en/products/sig_sauer?vmcchk=1I looked it up the other day when you posted - but couldn't be sure. Still can't, but LPA seems to be the factory adjustable Sig sight, as well as an available aftermarket upgrade. The other makers of aftermarket Sig sights look very different from what I have been able to tell.

I'll go back and get pictures from above -I don't know why I didn't think of that when I was there... doh! I'm not a Sig "expert" but I did notice that it is 1992 production (KC date mark). -Bill

Evidently, they are aftermarket tritium sights. Marked: Trijicon H3 92 Seems they were installed the same year the gun was made. -Bill

If they're marked "Trijicon" that means the lamps were made and installed by Trijicon. The "H3" is the periodic symbol for Tritium - it's a hydrogen isotope. The "92" indicates the year that the lamps were installed. I don't remember the half life of tritium but I bet those sights are well past being useful at night. Trijicon doesn't make adjustable sights, but they do install lamps in other manufacturer's sights - which get marked like yours is. They can also put new lamps in to replace ones that aren't bright anymore....
Thanks for mentioning the date code. I don't see it on the gun but I looked it up and learned something!

Here ya' go, AUS. The lettering has been diminished a little in 25 years, but you can still make out enough to read it. -Bill
