I'm in Texas. Posting this while hunting right now. I'll grab a picture or two if I get a chance. Just had to pull a 75 pound red hog out of a creek.

Biggest hog we got today. I'd guess about 240. We were going to castrate him and let him go, but nobody was willing to untie him to let him go.

This sow was tough on the bulldogs. Knocked them both flying before they finally latched on.

This was the best performing dog today. He held that sow bayed by himself for at least thirty minutes while we were running down a few other hogs first.

Me and granddad, he with his old double barrel 12 gauge and me with my single shot 20 gauge plus a good beagle = meat on the plate. We got em and grandma would fry some up for breakfast with biscuits and white gravy. Good luck Rob.

Lol yeah there are plenty down here. Our ranch here is especially loaded up with pigs.
I'm now sure about license cost. I believe that there is an exception allowing them to be taken without a license if it is done to "help" a landowner who is having a problems with pigs.
I think in general the game wardens aren't concerned with checking for a license if an invited someone is shooting pigs with a landowner. Licenses are mostly going to be asked for if you are on a paid hunt.
