Ok, Ok! If I ever need to draw and shoot an LCP at 102 yards I will do so with great confidence! Oh, Yeah, I just remembered I need to purchase one first. New and unusual ways to utilize video imaging. At least they were having fun! Wouldn't mind having that Leica rangefinder.

I'm sorry to question anyone's accuracy. However,
This just does not fit reality as I know it.
There is no "proof" here. We never see the gun shooting and the gong hit at the same time.
It sounds like the guys are having a great time. The narrator starts by saying he wants to prove this, which is why he's filming the way he does. What was he out to prove? Is this a setup?
Maybe I'm just jealous. My LCP and me could never do that. Seven yards and a bench rest has trouble grouping. My LCP has the worst accuracy of hundreds. Off hand at 100 yards+ 4 of 6 would be superb with that gun.
Sure looks like fun.

I haven't watched the video,,, so I can't make any claims one way of another about that. However,,, our first LCP is an accurate gun for such a small one. When we first got it,,, right out of the box,,, my first mag full,,, on a plate rack at about 15 yds,,, I hit 5 out of 6. When I do my part,,, it will do it's part. I may have to set up something to see what it can do at 100 yds.

I watched it - big gong, no big deal. I shoot at milk cartons at 80 yards with my LCP....sometimes I hit it. Still fun to shoot little things farther than the designer imagined though. The guys in the video were having a good time - I don't think "proof" matters in this kind of thing. It's not like the barrel is so inaccurate that it is mechanically incapable of hitting a 24" gong or whatever that is.

My LCP is accurate, I don't think I would shoot it at 100 yards, but I don't doubt it could. What would be the motivation for trying to fake it? There are numerous videos of people doing this with this gun, some with similar and some with not so similar results.
I know I have shot my Glock 17 at 80 and up at inanimate objects but it was impressive.

They are excellent little autos. I had one (which my wife carries in her purse now) and recently acquired another. I set about seeing how close the newest one's sights were regulated. I stapled a 7" paper bowl to a silhouette and backed off to 25 yards. I started with four sets of controlled pairs, triggering both shots as soon as the sights blocked on the bowl. To my surprise, I actually hit it about half the time. The controlled pairs are marked with a single slash mark. Then I backed off to 50 yards and fired three deliberate shots using both hands, standing unsupported. Those three holes are circled in the photo. By design or lucky accident, the little nubbin sights are spot on at 50 yards and it's surprisingly accurate Winchester White Box flat point FMJ.
