I haven't found anything from either brand that will fit a vehicle cupholder, specifically a Tacoma.
Am I missing something or do they just not make anything this size anymore?

FYI, early last May I ordered an RTIC cooler. Mid June and still no cooler. They ran my card in May when I ordered but no cooler and no update about when I'd get it. Several emails and calls later and eventually it's mid July and no cooler. The only communication was when I would instigate it. Eventually in July or August I got my money back and decided I didn't need the brain damage involved to try and do business with RTIC. YMMV

Walmart carries the Ozark cups that are just as good as the Yeti's at a fraction of the cost of a Yeti. My wife has the Yeti and I bought the Ozark. My wife would have been upset had her Yeti not been a gift. Ozark has three different sizes. I have the large size and it fits in my Ford 2003 Ranger cup holders just fine.

I'm hoping to find something like the Ruger Yetis that were on the RF last year or something similar that will fit a regular cupholder. The Ozark cups should fit but I haven't found just a plain one I could send out for etching. It seems they all have some kind of graphic on them already. steve, I've heard that about both companies and it seems most of the complaints were around summertime last year. I don't remember if I read there was a supplier issue or sales growing faster than planned. Not since the invention of the "Big Gulp".

I received a "Fire & Ice" brand as a gift. It works great, and I love it! It has a brushed stainless steel look to it & is plain so it would be easy to engrave/etch.

I've been really impressed with the Thermos brand travel mugs and how long they keep coffee hot. Much better than the older mugs. I've seen them in several colors along with brushed stainless steel.

My wife and I each have a Yeti. They fit my truck, but the recepticals are too close to remove them easily. So I just cut a piece of styrofoam to fill the hole slightly. Now they can be removed ok. They rattle some being so close now. I put a glove or napkin between them. I think they are good cups and take them everywhere.

I just bought a 30 oz Ozark at Wally World today that was plain stainless (nothing painted on it at all) and it fits the pretty small cup holders in my 1995 Volvo and the similarly svelte cup holder inserts on my 2014 Toyota FJ Cruiser. The inserts on the FJ come out to fit larger cups, but I prefer to leave them in as stuff is less likely to get tossed out on rough terrain.

Hmmm... I have Yeti, RTIC and Ozark Trail 30oz jobs and they all fit the cup holder in my older Xterra. Are they extra small in the Tacoma or just extra deep? (FWIW they all keep ice the same amount of time)
As for RTIC delays, that's how it works with them, they wait a long time for them to come in from China. If they're in, they come quick. I ordered one last week and had it in a few days. FWIW they just settled a lawsuit with YETI so what the future holds for them is uncertain. (as far as what they sell)

Thanks, maybe the ones I tried were bigger than 30oz. They weren't mine, I just borrowed them from family members to see if they fit and it's been over a year ago. Maybe they got the bigger size.
