Am guessing, hoping that Bobo is packing Panther worthy deterence. The cats prefer smaller human targets, moving targets, brightly colored targets..just sayin'. Ye olde Smith 69 walks with me at times. Other times it's my latest acquisition. The Ruger SP101 in .38 special. My ego feels safer with the 69 but my brain and the rest of my parts feels more competent with the Ruger. I'm a much better and quicker shot with the SP than I am with the 69. I'd rather know I can put 5 .38 bullets where I want them than hoping I can get one .44 slug somewhere in the vacinity. I've been here roaming these woods for close to 28 years now and have yet to see a panther or any tracks. I worry more about the bears and coyotes. The coyotes are not very shy.

Great write up & a fine looking "Tater", that boy will always remember those younger days with you & I'm sure he will turn out to be a fine adult, no doubt thanks to many of his adventures with you! Well done!
