You and Tater are lucky to have each other. I spent a lot of quality time with my Grandpa and I would not trade those memories for anything. Enjoy and count yourself blessed. Glen

I wish I could have an afternoon with either of my long gone grandpa's!!! I wish I could. BigBore44 Me too Ray....... Same invite goes for you too Craig! Hell, if any of you boys need a surrogate grandpa just come on down. We'll all go Skunk Ape scoutin'! Me and Tater would love to have ya. Bring your guns. Florida is a gun friendly state and I can check with squawberryman about heading over to the Eustis gun club. Outdoor range with lots of room. I'm not a member but if y'all give me enough notice I can fix that before you get here. I need to get that done anyway. Quarters might be a little tight but we can make it work. Sixgunners ( and fivegunners ) adapt and overcome. Up there in Micanopy where Medicdave spent time is where John Wesley Hardin set up shop before the law caught up with him. Wiersdale, which is about 25 minutes north of me is where Ma Barker hung her Thompsons. Lots of history to explore down here. Y'all would love Petersons Gun Shop. In business since the late 1800's. Cool place to visit but I wouldn't recommend buying there unless a last resort. Retail prices galore. Also wouldn't recommend leaving a firearm there for gunsmith work, you think Bowen takes a long time just drop something off at Petersons! Just ask squawberryman, he knows. There ya go! The invite is there. Just call me BoBo while you're here cause that's what Tater calls me. I'm just too cool to be called grandpa. :- )

How far out of Orlando are you? I'll be in Orlando early part of February. Not sure how much free time I will have but..... I'm about 20-25 miles NW of Orlando. I measure distance in time here. Traffic is such a crazy thing here this time of year what with all the snow birds and school traffic. It could take an hour or better to drive that 20 miles with the traffic. I absolutely detest going to Orlando and avoid it like the plague. I don't mind going to the airport so much anymore because I can take toll roads for most of the trip. Give me a holler with your schedule and see what we can come up with.

Will do!! Hoping to hit the Randall Knife Shop while I am down there as well!! That sounds like a good plan. All the years I've been here and as much interest in guns and knives that I have I've never been there.

I was going to suggest trying to meet there? But saw that it is in the opposite direction of your house. Probably even double the time to get there.
We'll figure something out
