Had to go over to Rileys gun shop in centrel NH to get a jug of little gun and price a scope , looking around the glass case area I see a couple of 2 series woodsman mags so I asked if I could buy them. They said sure but there are three one of which has a 2 series target match wrapped around it. Like a fool in a gun shop I said id like see it. I now have a target match which appears to be unfired, no paperwork no box, they though it was an estate sale.I would not be surprised the stuff is is up in an attic or closet somewhere DON K I had a series 1 sport stolen 1n 1949, they didn't get mag or holster and I had a chance to get a series 2 sport at the end of 1950.When I saw this 6 inch TM I thought they are somewhat rare in this condition.

What size barrel on your MT? I have a 4 1/2" Match Target series two I bought many years ago which also had no box or paper and came with plastic stag grips. Spent a number of years tracking down a pair of correct Coltwood grips and large and small adpoters......The solid brown Coltwood grips are actually the correct pair for the year this gun was made but as hard as it was to locate the black and brown swirl that are on my gun, the solid brown are even harder. Still looking.......Love those old Colt 22 autos.....

JFS is the spelling correct on adpoter? Not being a SA, just don't know what that is sir, even if the spelling isn't correct
