Something about brass and blackpowder speaks to me.
Events have conspired to get this thing together well ahead of schedule. I had been looking for a ROA at a decent price for a while, and forum member Mark Terry helped me hook up with a seller on this one. (Thanks Mark!)
It's an early edition, so it came with a narrow trigger and an alloy grip frame. Small price to pay for a warning free barrel.
Nobody wanted to buy the brassie I had on my OM salvage project, so I decided to fit it up to my ROA tonight. It went on perfect. Not like the aftermarket grip frame I had been playing with, this thing bolted up with a fit so right you can only hang a fingernail on the fit just under the S/N. I'm not taking it off. It looks and feels like someone took my ROA, and turned the "awesome" from 5 to 9 on a 10 spot dial.
