Good price, should sell quickly, I paid $815 for mine, I've seen the last 4 sell for more than that.

Well the VEKTOR is what it appears to be. A South African made semi pistol They were made in 9 and .40 only I believe in two sizes, full and compact. This is the SP2 Generals Model compact in .40 and the 9mm would be the SP1 in full or the Generals Model in compact form. I have had this for a few years but don't shoot .40 much so figure may as well sell it. It has the polygonal type rifling and at some angles its almost hard to see but that's the nature of it. It shoots fine. I have probably put less than 500 rds thru it and have no idea how many previous owners there are. I wanted one in 9 but have only seen one on GB and missed it, so when this came up I snagged it.

Like the 141. We/I have one in 35 Rem. Was my Granpa's and Dad still uses it once in awhile. I shot my 1st deer when I was about 12-13yo (6pt) with that rifle. Can't remember if it's the 14 or 141 at the moment. I think it's 141. Have you ever used the take-down feature?... I never have tried it. Nice old guns though that's for sure. Just well put together and classy, Accurate to. Good luck with sale's! Ray

Hi Ray, I have had it apart a couple times for thorough cleaning. Its a good shooter too. I went on a binge last couple of years and bought all kinds of stuff I had never had before and now that I have had some of them, well now its time to buy other stuff! Thanks!

My shoulder is a mess, in pain for almost a year, had surgery for arthritis, bone spurs grinding into my rotor cuff that had to be ground off, had torn ligaments in the rotor cuff repaired and a detached tendon in my bicep pinned back up, still don't have much strength in it or holding weight capabilities, started PT recently but health insurance running out, so no rifle shooting for me much that's why I have sold a few AR's and about to sell a couple more. I love bigbores, can't shoot my Rem 700 custom shop 350 Rem Mag but not selling that one.

That sucks for sure! I had a pulled bicep tendon repaired a few years ago too, takes some time to heal up. Your situation sounds much worse than mine though all in all.

I'm a little slow about the buckeye. Add says bowen reamed the 38-40 to .401. 401 powermag on the 38-40?

No, opened the tight chamber mouths to .401 from .396 inch. Thanks for that, think I will clarify the listing.
