Does anyone make a front sight blade to replace the fiber optic sight that comes standard in the 4.2" SP 101? I haven't even shot my .327 yet and while the fiber optic is growing on me I thought I would get a plain black blade on the way and do some experimenting switching back and forth, something that should be easy with a dovetailed front sight. I haven't been able to find any. Am I just looking in the wrong places or is this a custom one off item only? I have read that many don't like fiber optic sights so I was thinking there would be a handful of options but so far, either my google fu is weak, or there doesn't appear to be any options?

Hi Dean, does it have a plunger in front of the sight base? If so it should take their interchangeable sights that fit the GP100 and Super Redhawk.

Negative, just a dovetailed fiber optic front sight. Which made me think that these four inch guns had been out long enough there must be a bunch of aftermarket front sights made up and ready to slide in. So far my research hasn't showed any. Like I said I still haven't shot the gun but I just don't know if I'll get along with the FO other than ten yard rapid fire type shooting. I'm going to drop by my gunsmiths house here in the next couple of days and discuss. Dean
