About one third the size of my German Shepherd/Husky cross...

OK... double action section... so one could assume it would be a Ruger Alaskan... in fact my newer 480 Ruger I actually thought this was a badger when the dog was on it... Opposum was in the hole in the center of a 13 tire in my tire pile & looked like it was digging a hole in the dirt when the dog got on to it... it's the biggest Opposum I've ever shot... bet it went 30 lbs or better ( actually bigger than the last coon I shot ) I hadn't drawn blood with the 480 yet, so I ran inside & grabbed that one...  |

412 grain wide flat nose bullet over 15 grains of AA # 9 put the smack down on this big old buck... hardest part was getting seperation between my outside doggie & this big old ugly thing... I hate Opposums  notice one round was all it took  |
