I might be a hoarder but curious if you guys are the same... I have a gun collection... A small cartridge collection ( if I could figure out a good way of displaying... I could grow that one ) I won't go into my reloading tools & collection of Dies ( over 80 different calibers ) or bullet molds ( 2 drawers full ) a collection of old gun ads... I also collect antique straight razors Silver coins ( though the only ones I collect for intrinsic value are 1925 Patriot half dollars ) other silver is for "diversity" Antique Pocket watches... bulk are sterling or coin silver cases & rare & unusual wrist watches from the 30s - the 50s Antique counter top scales... old farm stuff ( we live on my wife's families century farm ) to a smaller extent... cars & trucks so any other hoarders out there & what do you collect??? a little of the "junk" I collect This a very old picture... since added a dozen or more pocket watches... This is a Hopkins & Allen Safety Police, factory engraved in 32 S&W just in case you're not familiar with a Patriot half dollar... they were only made in 1925 I put this one on a chain I wear 24-7... ( it was the worst condition one I own ) I have about a full roll of them in various conditions... this is the back, which pictures a Minute Man ready for action ... hmmm... what the heck are those spots... rub... rub... oops looks like it was tooth paste splatter from scrubbing the tooths the morning I took that picture

I used to collect knives. Probably had well over 100 at one point. Still have most of them. Both factory and customs with values ranging from $$ through $,$$$. I know I should sell most of them, particularly the safe queens ($,$$$ and some of the $$$ ones) and put the money towards ammo, guns, debt, etc.; but...

These are a few things I've accumulated, over the years, yet,,, most of it falling by the wayside,,, except for my Ruger stuff.

I collect knives both factory and custom. I like Case pocket knives. In customs I like hunter style and bird and trout fixed blade knives. I really like Bowies but haven't added any to my collect yet. My next thing to collect serious is going to be watches. I have a decent amount now but just stuff I wear daily.

Wouldn't call it a collection but wood boats seem to show up around my place at an alarming rate.

I wouldn't call my guns a collection. It qualifies more as an accumulation than a collection. I guess the three Herter's Powermags, one in each chambering might qualify as a collection.
I do have a collection of hand planes, mostly Stanley. I haven't found a #1 or #2 that was what I wanted or could afford and really haven't pursued the planes much for a few years. That was about the same time I stumbled onto this forum and got more enthusiastic about my single actions.

Way cool Mart. A pile of planes lives here, mostly wood bodied backing planes of assorted radii for doing caravel planking on boats. Two of my favorite planes from a "neatness" standpoint are the Stanley #48 and #49 for tongue and groove.

I have a Stanley 45 with the whole compliment of blades. I haven't used it much but when I retire I really look forward to more woodworking with hand tools.
I was just starting to get interested in wooden planes when I got my gun (and especially single actions) passion back. In fact my gun passion kind of fell away for a few years when our son was sick. I kind of lost myself in woodworking for a while during that time. I had been collecting user planes for a while and I found the woodworking a good coping mechanism. I still love it but don't do as much of it as I do shooting and reloading.

Besides guns, hats. Just over 2 dozen. Some from the 40's and 50's. I found that a custom hat is a little less $$$$ than custom revolvers...
