I've been seeing some groove less cast bullet designs. Likely due to the rising popularity of poly and powder coated cast bullets. Here, the 480 Penn bullet that comes at 335grs ,gone grooveless it now goes 355grs ! Besides the weight gains, remember that bearing surface has increased too. Who else has snatched up something grooveless in search of groovy ? Who else here has found a cylinderful'o joy ?

With all these grooveless boolits I wonder if that will drive the price of lubegrooves up. I think I've got a few I could sell!

That LBT mold is a thing of beauty.

Nice looking bullet Curt, LBT moulds are my favorite. Stevie Wonder could cast with one of Verl's moulds.

Cannelure? Isn't that a crimping groove?

Yup, that's a crimp groove, would be hard to hold that big old bullet back without one.

Yup, cannelure(spell ?), not to be confused with that Italian dish. Canoli, Cannoli ? Awww, something like that.
