one of my little OCD deals, is I've been trying to but Sellier & Bellot ammo for my Czech guns... I have 2 8mm Mauser rifles I load for... but in trying to have a back up supply of factory ammo, I've been looking at this ammo... not tried shooting it yet... I assume SPCE stands for soft point controlled expansion www.sportsmansguide.com/product/index/sellier-amp-bellot-8mm-mauser-8x57-js-196-grain-spce-20-rounds?a=1583557bullets look long for weight with reduced diameter for the froM 1/3 or so of the bullet... I'll be ordering a box to try before I buy several 100 for stock... I've seen this type of bullet on several Sellier & Bellot calibers... just curious what you guys thoughts are on this bullet style???

66 views... no replies... no one has tried this kind of bullet???
anyone want to speculate???
seems like it might be long for weight, & may need a faster twist rate???

SPCE stands for soft point cutting edge.

Thank you... is that like a wad cutter for shooting targets, or is it a game cartridge???

It's a game bullet, but I have never used it.
