Old Lyman Molds

Going through old stuff I got in my first casting stuff deal... You never know what you are getting with these grab bag deals.. Snapped a few pics of the old Lyman molds in there for show and tell....
No. 429360 looks like a classic Keith style 44

No. 358429 Looks to be a Keith style 357

No. 358315 Is interesting... Might be fun in a long cylinder 357...

That 44 will go about 305grs and that 358429 will go about 170. Great catch.

Get a hard (#5) lead pencil, sharpen it well, then use to remove the rust in the Lyman 358429 (excellent pictures, by the way).

The two Keith bullets are VERY useful designs.

Good illlustration of what is out there waiting for us..... These came from a box of bits and pieces and a Lyman sizer... The molds are in their original boxes with the retail prices marked on them ($11)... The size/lube dies are there too! The box has been sitting in my shop for 15 years... Came from the father of a work buddy who had not cast a bullet in many years...
