Snagged this off GB for a way too good price to pass up, even free shipping. Got for about $125 less than the normal GB price, NIB. Model 91190 with safety for C&L carry, two 14 rd mags, etc. Shot it today, functioned perfect, shot well, had to drift the rear over a tad to center. Used 3 different factory rounds and all shot well. Gun all steel but actually a couple ounces lighter than my STAR BM, though with full mags the CZ will be heavier as it holds nearly twice the rounds. Fun gun to shoot, was not happy when I ran out of rounds!

Yeah, I can see this one becoming a favorite. What vintage is yours, they look identical but for the grips.

it was my FIL's gun... if I had to guess I'd say 80's... probably early 80's ... & I wouldn't call it "heavy" I'd call it "solid" feeling I used to carry it all the time... before I started carrying mostly revolvers again... BTW... I'm thinking mine fits 15 round magazines

Sure in good shape considering age and use. Mine came with 2 14 rd mags. I had an original CZ 75, sold it to my brother and his wifey wont let him part with it.

Nice!! I have the Compact .40 which is becoming a favorite and a Sp01 Tactical that I haven't put but 15 rounds through. Too durn hot... The .40 is verrry accurate...I thought I didn't like .40s...correction..I don't like Beretta or M&P .40's. ;-) I'd love to have the Compact 9 like yours or a Rami.. Have fun!

FIL I don't think shot the compact, while it was his... I shot it enough to prove it for CC & carried it for 3-4 years in a light belt slide holster... it did pretty well not showing holster wear... probably doesn't have more than 500 rounds through it though... I'd like to get some custom grips made for it... have seen a few on line, but am kinda partial to Zane's work... might have to see if he's up to the task, after I get more of my ammo supply caught up...
I'm in the market for a CZ 40 S&W sometime this year... or early next... I'm thinking duty size with a rail for a light, to keep as a night stand gun, on the 40...
FIL was Czech, so he collected the CZ's... after he died, MRS & I kept 3 of the 9mm CZ-75's, & also have a CZ-85 ( ambidextrous ) that is still unfired... I bought several CZ rifles over the years, to build on the collection, but haven't bought many handguns... yet... I'd also like to add a 2nd 7.62 X 25 handgun... had 2 of them, but traded one long ago, & I'm missing that one, so might have to find another... then should also get a couple samples of the newer poly or alloy guns, so far, all the Czech guns are steel

Shot it twice now and no FTF at all. Ordered a taller rear sight from CZ for it and another mag too. I really like shooting it.

That's a wonderful piece of steel, nolongcolt. Functional with class.
