Just spotted a brand new looking 32-20, 1894 CS, I believe..JM marked. Half mag tube, straight stock. $650. Since I'm not a 32 guy...but wouldn't mind being one...is that a good price? Gun prices have increased exponentially...hard to tell anymore what the "right price" is.

Joe Imo that isnt a great price but if in nice condition, its a decent price these days. I have one in 25-20 and its a nice little carbine. I like loading it down with casts and, using it on small game (grey squirrel, cottontails etc.) its easy on the meat and like a 45-70 with casts on deer, you can eat right up to the hole... If youve wanted one, and if in good condition and, can swing it id jump in. Try to haggle some. Worst thry can do is say no. Another nice thing is, its Super easy on powder n lead supplies... Good luck, let us know. Ray

Looks like they took it straight out of the box and put it on the shelf.. Mike's Guns and Archery, Frankfort. I'll try to get some cash together..but if someone else can snag it, go for it. Since I retired, the "gun money" spring has come to a trickle.

I was fortunate enough to end up with one of the 501 Octagon barrel version of these guns.
In my opinion anyone would be foolish to pass on one of these if within financial reach.
Recently found the 25-20 version, NIB. It was $750 shipped and I didn't blink an eye before I paid the seller.
I passed on a 32 H&R version and regret it every day.
