Since the LBT 41 mold arrived I have been looking for 41 gas checks... Finally found Veral Smith wrting to use the .416 gas check for the 41... Saw a Lyman Gas check tool for the Lyman and RCBS sizer at Midway... Now I'm getting ready to melt some lead and pour some bullets.. While my Star is my primary sizing tool I do have Lyman And RCBS sizers...
Any words of wisdom out there?

You'll like that bullet weight. I've used 20.0 of H110 under a 265 hardcast in my 401 Bobcat. Velocity is around 1,400 fps. Max load is 22.0 of H110 for 1,450 fps. Since the LBT 270 is shorter than my 265, you'll probably gain a little capacity. -Lee www.singleactions.com

Axe I have some 41 gas checks that were purchased on the castboolits site. I think the max shank diameter is around .396/7. If you need to try some I can send a handful to you. Let me know.
