At the LGS they have a 1990s winchester 94 ae trapper 45lc. Safe queen. Few dings no scratches. Obviously never seen field time. There asking 700. Whats it worth. How low shoupd i counter offer.

In my experience worth it!!, trappers in 357 or 45clt are hard to find and usually sell for more or at least are listed for more, $700 is less than a 9422 are selling for.

The previous owner of the shop walked in and thought i should ask 550. Thought that might be a little low.
Thought this girl would pair up well with a lipsey flat top

The prices on these have skyrocketed. I sold a 44 mag trapper two years ago for 550 and the guy didn't even try to haggle. I bought it new in 2003 for $275. The only reason I sold it was because I wanted a 92 type levergun and people on gunbroker were asking what I considered ridiculous prices for the 94 trapper AE. The one I had was real stiff and the trigger was around 8 pounds. Other than that I never had a problem with it.

GB prices start at $550 and go up. One guy is asking $900. I would start lower, you can always come up.
