The engraved surname is unfortunate. Especially is the 'T' is silent like I think it is.

I remember seeing that a while back in one of Fermin's picture threads. if I remember correctly the engraving was done by Jim Riggs out of Boerne, Texas.

It's a bit heavy on the engraving for my liking, but otherwise what a great piece. But is that a stainless gripframe with blue cylinder/frame? I was never big on the "pinto" customs, either. Doug

ScottT used to be on the forums some, his life has had some twists and turns and it is too bad he doesnt own this fine gun any more, I know it was a favorite of his for many years and has been hunted with successfully over that time. I can think of a Nebraska whitetail does and a bunny that the gun head shot off the top of my head. Yes I do believe that Jim Riggs was talked into engraving this gun even though he had retired from the work several year prior, it is a special piece.
