As custom revolvers go, they're not that much. Remind me, and I'll bring 'er out next time you head this way.

Boge, based on the pics of your cat on Alan's gallery, I sent him a NM cat last month with instructions to make a copy, except mine'll be fluted. Can't wait.
And you're right, it's less expensive than I expected.

Dang.... now I have to choose another gun to sell off. Boge, what does the not fluted cylinder do to the weight/balance? I am guessing - just a guess - that with the bigger holes they are pretty darned close to the same. Wonder if he can make mine a Bisley? ;D

I doubt it makes any difference at all, although I haven't handled one with flutes. To me it's an issue of aesthetics only. I like the look of the unfluted cylinder without the roll mark. Here's another cool Bearcat, a Hamilton Bowen .22 Magnum / LR convertible on an Old Model lightweight. It's a wonderful little sixgun, and I LOVE the Clements Pre-War sight. www.gunblast.com/Boge_BowenBearcat.htm

Every time I show my bearcat to folks I have to wrassle 'em to get it back! Boge, you're directly responsible for mine, ya know... I got the mindworm for one years back, but it passed. Then you had Bowen make yours, and I couldn't stand it! Great little guns.

I love Bearcats anyway, so those cool customs are just too much to resist.
