I did inventory of my stash last weekend and I discovered I have about 6k 22LR cartridges. I'm looking for an old model single six with the fixed sight or maybe an adjustable sight to make a dent in them. I want an unconverted Old Model. PM me what you have. Or email at curtisDOTfitzgeraldATwillbros.com. I have cash or trade fodder.

Much less paperwork involved if you just send me those 6K rounds of orphaned and neglected 22LR I will give them a good home. Sorry I couldn't help myself... Good luck with finding what you are after, and I will keep an eye out for you also... BigBore44

I have 2 , a single six 22 mag and a super single six 22LR both in great condition, ironically both made in 1968. The single six has a fluted 22 magnum cylinder. But I would probably keep that one I can still shoot a 1.5 group at 25 yds with it and the simple fact most SA's are either fixed or adj sighted not a rear drift. The SS six was converted when I bought it but I had a set of the OM parts so I just converted it back and still have the conversion parts as well. FYI- while writing this I just used the SS Six with shotshells to dispatch a cotton mouth right off my porch steps 2 feet away, worked great

A new model makes for a dandy 22 Ruger. We call this one Nimrodito by Harton.

The new Ruger MKIII is a hammer too! Here are the first 3 shots out of this gun at 25 yards:

They can also be done on the old model. BUT, the hammer will have to be hand crafted. Still, an OM Bisley Single Six in whatever caliber would be cool beans....

Fermin you could save me some Harton wait time and send one like that to Oklahoma. Beautiful guns. I try to keep a gun in line at Alan's.
After seeing these, I'd be interested in a blue New Model Single Six Bisley too...

This is one of OM Single Six I picked up from this thread. It's beautiful OM with Sack Peterson grips. I can see my .22 ammo shelf getting cleaned out a bit.
