Looks like a good beginning! Have you sorted all the zinc and iron weights, valve stems, razor blades, snuff cans, etc. out of it yet?

Kool.... I smelted down a couple buckets today. Made some pretty nice shiny MUFFINs
Cant eat too many though as they hit your stomach like a lead bomb.

Congrats on your score! Last count I have 5 or 6 buckets of raw WW's waiting to be melted. No need at all to sort, just fill a cast iron pot with the WW's from your bucket, heat it on a propane turkey fryer keeping Temps below 780° or so, and everything that ISN'T lead will float to the top where it can be scraped off. Works 100% of the time. Keep us posted.

It's all sorted. I ended up with 44 pounds of steel and zinc out of both buckets. I feel safer sorting. I use a melter that will get over 1,000 degrees.
