ran the SBH 480 again with the 410r wide flat nose and 20.0gr H110, three strings averaged 1113.6, 1112.8 and 1110.8 FPS for a combined average of 1112.4 FPS and accuracy was respectable, however i still am thinking about bumping the load up to 20.5 gr H110

What are you hoping to use that load, gun, for ? In all honesty, my 480 likely only to get pointed at deer, targets, rocks n trees, and whatnot.

Well, with all this global warming you never know when one of those rogue polar bears may travel south to the states and I want to be ready!! seriously though I simply wanted to be able to accurately throw 400 plus chunks of lead down range accurately, and be able to say i have a sledge hammer in the inventory, that's all, but if I used it around here for game deer and bear is the biggest we have here in the great white north and the .480 with 400 plus is for sure way more than necessary but so be it

Same/same here. Have started out with 325gr XTP's and Penn and Missourri Bullets lighter offerings, then rice and bird shot loads. Am now looking for more..he he he !

Sounds like a solid plan. If it was me, I'd keep bumping it up and looking for accuracy - and bump it down as well, for the same reason. I imagine that somewhere in the 1000-1200 fps range you'll find an accurate load with recoil that's "reasonable" - accuracy has to be the main thing though....you can always get more "power".
