several years back on the sixguns forum someone asked about a mystery novel set in post WWII Arizona about 3 teens and Spanish treasure.
the questioner mentioned the bad guy using a Winchester 1886 in an odd caliber ( .50-110 ), and he couldn't find the book or remeber the title.
