Thompson Center 44 hot shot ammo/capsules

I recently inherited some TC guns and ammo/components from my grandfathers estate.

I'm just looking for some input of what these things are worth. My grandfather did not still have the 44 hot shot barrel, Just these items.

The guns I am selling locally to avoid all the shipping /FFL headaches.

What do have still is 44cal hot shot capsules/loaded rounds.

I have a box of capsules in #7 1/2 "green" containing 30 capsules.
I also have a full box (50) in #4 "blue"

The loaded ammo I'm unsure of. As they seem to be loaded in norma and super vel brass.

One box is marked #4 and has 20 rounds loaded in norma brass.
One box marked #9 with 20 rounds of grey capsules loaded in super vel brass.

***I do NOT have any idea as what is loaded in these rounds.***
Truth be told I would really rather pull the capsules and sell them alone.

Any input/info would be appreciated. Someone has to have a barrel that would be interested.

I might be interested... I do have a 44 Hotshot barrel... I've improvised & reamed mine for 444 Marlin cases & load them like brass .410 shells...

as far as prices??? I've not seen any of these listed for 5-10 years, so they may be worth more as collectors than as shooters

I'd just about bet that the cartridges are factory, but just a guess without seeing them...

Having spent the last 3 hours researching. The ammo is looking more factory. The more I find pics. the brass seems to be either super vel or norma. The only place I have seen them listed for sale is gun broker and the fool on there thinks 6 boxes of ammo and 2 boxes of capsule are worth $485. LOL

I too have a T/C bbl that can use these rounds. I recently bought a box of the 357 Hotshot ammo, of 19 rounds at an auction. I'm always on the lookout for more.

Well from the research I've done. I want no part of shipping ammo. So that leaves the capsules. I'll sell them for $60 shipped.

I guess color indicates shot size? Mine are red.
