Thanks for posting! That's not how I pictured the process. Are you in some way related to these videos? Glad to share! Nah, just a fan. I think the fist one I ran across was on the Maxim gun. I had watched a video from Ian at Forgotten Weapons on early Maxims and the animated Maxim showed up in the "You might like this" group after it ended. I wound up subscribing to his channel and I've been working them into my tumblr feed as well. Mag, I had a project Model 1883 Trapdoor several years ago. I got it together but before I got it to the range to try it out someone offered me more for it than I had in the entire bundle of three project rifles I bought to get that one. Local shop has an earlier model complete with bayonet for $900 IIRC but I don't want to spend that much on one. And I'd rather have a carbine than a full rifle anyway. |

agree... in original format, I much prefer the carbine models of most vintage rifles
