Tell me about it.. Planning to use 30-30 brass. Thinking trim to length, run the case up into the size die, deburr and champher the case mouth, complete loading process, and repeat. Yes? No?

Stan.... Yes. Think after chamfering trimmed case, ran it up the expander. Doing this years ago found .375 Winchester brass to be stronger and extract more easily. Unlike the .357 Maximum, the .375 Super Mag has a tapered chamber. Thus, standard die and lubed case. Don't have data at hand. Other silhouette veterans, including John Taffin, may throw in. Trimming Starline 38-55 brass works well. Plenty of data in the Accurate Arms load manual.

I've got the gun, loading data, Redding dies, and LOTS of 30-30 brass.. I have yet to pick up a piece of 375W or 38-55 up off the floor on the range. 30-30 is plentiful...

In the event you load for the Dan Wesson 375 SM, check groove diameter, as .377" is common. The oversize groove obviates accuracy from jacketed .375" bullets, while opening the door to cast. David Bradshaw

My bullet caster buddy casts a plain base for the 38-55 shooters I plan to try in the DW 375. Without going to the shop I think they are .378 and 220 grains. Hate that they are plain base but I did buy a mold and .376 size die to play with. May need a couple more size dies to play with. I'll have to drop a few and see how big they are as cast.
