I have been trying to resist a great offer locally on a 480 Ruger SRH, and the biggest reason is the cost of bullets and brass. Much of the lead I shoot is cast by a local company here in SE Wisconsin, Acme Bullets. So I sent them an email this morning asking them if they had any thoughts or plans to start casting bullets for the 480 Ruger. I just received a reply that "We are casting a 475 370 RNFP bullet for coating this week. ACME Bullet Company". Hopefully these hit full production soon and are just the start. www.acmebullet.com/

Beware! It has been a few years but..... My first 480 and the discovery of NO cast bullets triggered my first bullet mold order from NEI. It snowballed from there and resulted in lots of molds, size dies, and lead pots. 2000 pounds of linotype too...

I am already looking at molds and starting talks with a local guy who had a bunch of linotype on harmslist... edging towards the slippery slope.
