We went with my wife's school on a look alike paddle wheel dinner cruise boat on the St. John's river in Sanford Florida. This large bridge is I-4, it runs from Tampa to Daytona. As we approached it I couldn't figure out what I was seeing. The lake was flat, reeeeeal flat.

Two days later Russ man goes to that very spot and puts these slobs in the boat. He's the fish whisperer. That's a 12" filet knife.

We doubled up right before we got our five a piece limit. This is Lake Lotsabass in Eustis, Florida. If you ever go there we were fishing by that lily pad under that tree over there. Every time.

That's a decent largemouth bass. Just a little bit bigger than my biggest ever smallmouth. Long ago,, I managed a 7lb, 12 oz smallmouth. I was young,, and he was tasty. Never even thought about mounting it. Several years later,, I discovered it was unusual to get one like that over about 6 lbs here. Oh well,,,!
