Mikov, made in the Czech Republic. Lots of options, you can essentially design your own. High quality.

I have many - my favs are from Microtech (Halo, DOC Killswitch, Selectfire, Ultratech). I have a converted Buck that is kind of cool and others from Benchmade, Mikov, and several itallians...
They are legal to own and carry here - although I believe the blade needs to be 5.5" or less to legally carry.

This has opened up a can of worms for me, way too many choices y'all have given me.
Originally I was looking for one to clip on my tool bag, something inexpensive but pretty tough. I was carrying a Milwaukee fast trac in the bag but they are hard to open, hard to close. In talking with a friend he gave me an inexpensive Boker Magnum automatic and told me, this is the perfect tool bag knife. I agree it filled the bill for the tool bag, but now this thread has got me looking for a smaller, better quality pocket auto. I will get down to some looking now at all the options yall have laid out for me.
Thanks

I have two Benchmades and I like them. The problem was I have reading comprehension problems and bought one on the small end and one on the large end and nothing in the middle that I would have carried. We live and learn.

I just bought my 1st a couple weeks ago, at the gun show... mine is a Boker Automat Kalashnikov 74... seems durable, they come in several blade patterns... I chose a stainless ( non black coated ) traditional blade pattern... mine cost me $50.00 BTW... I think around here, they ( switchblades ) are considered weapons, so you need a permit to carry a weapon, to legally carry one... ( though for me, it's just a tool... last thing I want to do, is get in a knife fight... especially since I'd be already carrying a gun )

I ordered up an HK Mini entourage. We'll see how I like it.
