Good Story James. No Wyatt huh? You put it through his ear,, Virgil would have been proud. Hunting with friends is always fun unless you miss, or do something bad, then it seems you obtain some kind of nickname.

THAT is a GREAT BOAR..and the story hardly boring...
Was just talking to a friend in British Columbia...they now have wild hogs invading from the south mainly Washington...soon they will be everywhere.
Was wondering what you were going to use for a load for your .41 Magnum?

Bob Bob, I use a 41mag load from John Taffin that`s only for a Freedom Arms model 83 that uses either a 210gr XTP or Swift A-frame over 22.0grs of AA#9 with mag primer. The XTP runs 1745fps and the A-frame is about 50fps lower from my 10" barrel......

22.0 of AA#9!! MAMA.... I have two 5 shot .41s, a FA 6" and a 5.5" Reeder Custom...that is quite the load...

They still have a boar problem in Washington? Last I heard the locals killed them all in short order as invasive species. This is good news; not for property owners but for hunters.
