I think I've decided to part with my pair of Stevens Crackshot Rifles... I have a pretty much matched pair of them, that I bought seperately over the years, reworked, they are fully functional mechanically, both have had new barrel liners installed... so they are nearly identical as far as shooting ( different rear sights between them ) I built them with "old tyme friendly competition" in mind... they are in 80% or better condition... I plan on selling the pair, with a 500 Brick of Super Colibri ammo... which is what I shoot in them... the flip breach is too weak for standard 22 ammo I'm thinking I'd sell the pair for $ 750-800 or seperate for $425.00 each... hmmm... maybe $450 each, as I'd rather sell them as a pair... do you guys think I'm in line with the prices??? too high, or too low??? thanks in advance... I have about 2 weeks before the gun show, to figure out where I want them priced at... BTW... my purpose of going to the "one a year" gun show, that I sell at, is not to have to haul anything back home... so I want my price to be low enough, that the "right" person buys things rather than just looks at them... but not so low as I'm just throwing money away... this is one... needed action work ( pieces replaced ) & a newly lined barrel, after I bought it...

no help here??? if I'm way too high, don't be afraid to hurt my feelings...
just trying to remember the 2nd one I bought, I think had $425.00 on the tag, but it's the one pictured above, with bad action parts ( had been shot too much with 22 LR ammo ) & had a badly pitted bore... I think I ended up buying it for $370.00, & then did the work to make it shootable... but maybe the value has gone down in 10 years or so???

Just an FYI, if anyone is curious... I sold the pair for $550.00, on the last day of the show... about my cost for the 2 guns needing work... so those Crackshots aren't likely a very good investment right now... at least in my area...
