I just left my local range and there was an OM .357 with a brass grip frame for $379.00 +tax. It also has a brass ERH, which I haven't seen before. It's pretty beat up and has been converted. I asked to take off the grips to see if it was marked as a ruger frame and they would not let me (I'm pretty sure it is). They wouldn't haggle on the price at all. I'm spiteful, if nothing else, and left. Given the condition ( maybe 90% ?), front site has a red insert, transfer bar, and spite, it's not worth it to me just to get the frame. I figured I'd be paying for the brass frame and the pistol would be free.
I just wanted to pass on the info, in case anyone is interested. Let me know and I'll send a PM (Charleston, SC). There is a gunshow in 2 weeks, so I know it'll be gone.

Not in bad shape.
The brass pieces on their way to kings6.
Nice working with you on this one, kings6.
Thanks for the heads up, angryman

Beaters thread in the gallery, along with a sad cubkitten.
Now I need to open the trigger slot in this Karma OM Grip frame. The .357 has a wide, serrated conversion trigger. And said trigger is sharp enough to cut. For now.
Well I have a 4 day weekend, a handful of files, a keg full of beer, and a mailbox full of background movies from Netflix.

I'll pass on my address for my finders fee ;D
Glad it worked out well for everyone. I'd rather you have it than the knuckleheads around here. I hated to pass it up, but daycare isn't getting any cheaper these days.
Take care, Paul
